I agree. Griffin is an every down guy, with Perk and others as a change of pace or 3rd down backs.
Of course, knowing our apparent self-induced little league rule where everyone gets to play, we'll just keep changing backs on every possession.
To be fair, Mullen said all week Griffin would get more carries and that was before Perk got injured on Wednesday. Also, Griffin himself said last week he felt that against Bama and A&M that he was finally back physically and mentally. So now that he is, expect what we saw tonight to continue and that is a good thing.
I was telling my brother this before I even knew he was starting tonight. He runs hard and doesn't tip toe. He's got his confidence in his knee back, not to mention he's a helluva pass blocker.
