A couple of weeks ago I'd would have said we were his silent leader but Bama is really talking to him a lot about being a 3-4 S(which they like LB sized kids at).

Want Conner as a FS and looking at Shumpert as a SS.....in a 4-3 Conner is a SS and Shumpert is a OLB but then again he can play RB as well.

Didn't Bama sign 2 5star top 40 safties last year, and have one already committed this year.
ETA: the safety was Landon Collins.
Also Bama just got a commitment from a JUCO OT from Brooklyn. Hopefully that could help us secure things with Jake Thomas.

I don't know if it means anything but I added Shumpert as a friend on facebook a while back and I saw where he had that he went to school at Mississippi State University

The first step is admitting there is a problem.
if you seriously friended a recruit a facebook, you need to see a pyschiatrist. And that also goes for any MSU fans friending recruits. Just don't do it. No matter how much you think you're helping, you are not.

well, guys believe it or not we have a log jam at S also. But, we need some lb's for depth for sure. Not saying that someone can't out perform and get on the field but the depth chart is so full at s.

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a tweet from Bracky Brett saying that boosters (us) contacting recruits could be considered a rules violation and he said to refrain from it in all instances. Let the recruiters do the recruiting.
