My second favorite MSU game was at LSU, November 12, 1983. State won that game 45 - 26. It was actually a lot more lop-sided than the score indicates. It was a very cold night and Tiger Stadium was packed, at least at the start of the game. Some LSU fans directly behind us were drinking Jack Daniels and being typical LSU fans. Seems like it was 3rd and short from near mid-field in the 3rd quarter. John Bond ran a QB sneak for about 45 yards and scored. The LSU fans stood up, handed us their half-empty bottle of Jack and left, along with about half the rest of the crowd. The cold air did not matter much anymore.
