Hugh Freeze is most famous for the movie "Blindside", and Dan Mullen is most famous for his tutoring of former top pick in the NFL draft, Alex Smith, and 2 time National Champion, Heisman trophy winning, 1st round NFL draft pick, Tim Tebow. A genius would have had a way better offense than this, playing in the Sun Belt conference. Dan Mullen has led top ranked offenses multiple times and has done so in the SEC. Hugh Freeze has coached in one bowl, Dan Mullen has coached in several bowl games, including the Offensive Coordinator for two National Championship teams. Dan Mullen is also 2-0 in bowl games as the coach of Mississippi State. Coach Mullen has been coaching at Mississippi State one less year, than Hugh Freeze has been coaching in Division 1, combined. So the next time your Ole Miss buddy says that Hugh Freeze is the man for the job and that there is no difference between when we hired Mullen and them hiring Freeze, you show them this article and ask them what other SEC coach has this little experience.
