Not true Paul. I know both 2000 (11 am cbs kick off) and 2001 Florida was on CBS, as well as 2000 Auburn. Maybe a few more in there I can't remember.

Has anyone estimated how many students are willing to miss Monday or Tuesday classes to go home for an entire week for Thanksgiving?

Many of the students went home for the holidays. No excuse... just pointing that out.
However, I still contend the reason more fans didn't show up is those lousy Carolina Pride hotdogs. Five bills for that?

I wasnt talking about those years but you are right and forgot about those times. I was referring to MSU's run from like 1997-1999.

O then yes, Our best years of 1998 and 1999 I don't think we had a cbs game. But Lee Corso did love him some MSU football during those days. It feels like we played a season's worth of thursday night games during 1999-2002. Lots of ESPN saturday night games as well. Unfortunately back then network television was still king, and ESPN games were not as big of a deal as they are today.

Did our streak of sold out games end with all the emply seats? I know Mullen mentioned something about Arkansas fans returning several tickets, do those returned tickets count as "unsold"? Anybody know?

That is exactly the reason the student section was so empty. A lot of teachers cancelled classes Monday and Tuesday. My class this morning had maybe half the class there. Another point to make, the students know how bad teams are just like alumni and that had a major part of why the student section was so empty.
