And with that, ill get the ball rolling.
Josh Robinson is very good. Chris Wilson was praising him Tuesday and reminding defenders of how good Josh is and to not try using "weak a** arm tackles" to try to bring him down. I dont know who is faster between he and Perk, but Josh is a better downhill runner than Perk. I havent kept count, but it looks like hes gotten as many snaps with the ones as Perk.
Tyler is poised to do some stuff a MSU QB hasnt done in a long time. I think as a MSU fan it is difficult to contain the excitement based off what I have seen, but also realizing that I have to consider MSU QB play for the last ten years hasnt been "typical."
I will admit I have been surprised to see Virges lock down the #2 DT spot. I knew he was talented, but as far as I can tell he hasnt been demoted at all. I at least expected Cherrington/Jones/Jones to contend for the 2nd spot, but it pretty much has been Virgess spot throughout camp.
The LBs are good. Its the deepest Ive seen since.... in a long time. Im not saying they are better than the Chaney/Wright/White combo, but like Mullen said-the separation between #1 and # 7 is very minimal. I think the biggest thing is that Deonte Skinner has turned it on, and he is a guy with the NFL potential. McKinney has looked good, but I have also been very impressed with Bohana.
