The Goad Herder
North Carolina. Had an uncle who had both a football scholarship and an academic scholarship from UNC. He bought me a football and showed me a little about football and generated interest. My father thought organized sports were a serious waste of time since you could be working instead, so I owe my mother's brother credit for instilling a love for football into me.

I'm at school at Penn State right now, so I guess I will go with them. But it is a distant second.
People always talk about the big boys and large stadium experience. It just isn't true. I will take Davis Wade over Beaver Stadium any day of the week, and twice on Saturdays.
from there...went to grad school there
although living in Miami now I have found myself pulling for the U
and obviously, whoever is playing OM
Was always a notre dame fan growing up because although state was my favorite they didn't win very much so had to have a backup team and just something about the history of notre dame, over the past decade though I have changed to boise state, began liking them when Dan Hawkins was the coach there and began bringing that program up and then Peterson took the reins as has continued the winning.
The Minnesota Fighting Golden Gophers!
"Minnesota hats off to thee, to thy colors true we will ever be, and united forever are we, rah rah rah rah for ski-u-mah, hooray for the U of M!"
I went to graduate school at Minnesota. Their two Hall of Fame Coaches, Bernie Bierman and Murray Warmath, BOTH coached at Mississippi State. They both also won National Championships for Minnesota, Bierman won five, Warmath one. I was a quasi-celebrity for about 15 minutes when my classmates (all 28 of them) were told that by our Biostatistics professor.
