According to wiki, he was an analyst for fox sports last year and was going to be one for CBS sports this year.

sounds good, but a part of me is wondering if this is just a "knee jerk reaction" by Mullen. I thought the consensus was that he would take care of the WRs and promote a GA to assist him.
Let me be clear, I'm NOT against this hire....just seems VERY sudden.

This could have been in discussion for awhile. Remember the rumored plans to move Mirando away from WR's, even before his "resignation". "Sudden" is a relative term.
