I think a big part of this might be that Alexander was very clear, he expected to come in, start, play 3, and go pro. Nothing wrong with that, but Mullen has been a straight shooter, he's told every single recruit they will have to earn it, no position is given. Now he's talented enough to do that, no question. But he might also have looked at Jiles and Redmond and saw it will be tough to top those two. Jiles was good enough we weren't going to redshirt him, but he broke his hand. That despite having Banks, Broom and Slay. We've got Calhoun and Love also, and those two are good players as well.
