IS BEAUTIFUL ...the broadway area seems to be the hangout area .I've seen several Dawgs and only 2 WF fans at least those sporting their colors........weatheris sunny but chilly

I pulled up the weather forecast this morning and it looks to be cool & windy Friday night...gonna have to bundle up! And I am having a hard time deciding on a restaurant / bar...lots of replies on fav spots to eat & drink downtown.

I'm still trying to figure out where to park on Friday! The bowl shuttle starts at 4:00 and there is another one that requires reservations. Anyone know how far the walk is across the bridge and to the stadium? Are the public pay lots downtown close?

Hey, Snake...I saw your post the other day and absolutely forgot to reply. I'm driving up from Memphis and staying at the Holiday Inn Opryland off Briley Pkwy. We plan to arrive about 1100-1130 Friday and then catch the hotel shuttle to downtown near the boardwalk that crosses over the river to the stadium. If you want, meet us at the hotel, park your car there (no parking fees I think) and ride with us. I'm not sure what the shuttle costs (and the desk clerk said it's about a $20 cab fare to downtown) and ride with us. We'll get down there and check out some of the hot spots and make a decision then.
Just a thought to consider.

yes...there are lot of public lots, but they are pretty expensive, even when there is not an event going on.
the walk across the bridge is not too bad. I plan on making it from my office's garage.

You will pay between $15-$20 to park in the lots downtown unless you luck up on a street spot. I walk across the bridge for many titans games and so do several others as well. Pretty easy walk.

Thanks for the info. I hate having to make this a day trip but it is what it is. I just wish there was a central parking area with shuttles running throughout the day. I guess things will be tough and hectic downtown since this is actually a work day. Maybe most folks will get off work early and parking downtown will be a little better

Some of you asking about shuttles.... here you go
Gray Line will operate public shuttle buses beginning at 4 p.m. and continuing until kickoff from Greer Stadium and the Renaissance Hotel downtown. The cost is $10.
