Mizzu and Texas AM to the SEC is 90%...

chance of going down per ESPN Radio.Just had someone on that was talking about it...said his very high up source gave it 90% chance of going down and both would be in the SEC by 2013.
Added the SEC could look like this...
East-S.Car,Fla,UGA,TN,AU,UK,Vandy
West-LSU,Ark,Mizz,TX AM,OM,MSU,Bama

Bama and Auburn in different divisions, that'd be weird.

Mizzou fits because they have a rivalry with Arkansas. I don't know how much the SEC will saturate the metro markets up there, lots of Kansas basketball and pro sports already present.

I personally dont think we need any "new" markets. It is nationally known how superior the SEC is, all kids playing high school football know it. I don't want TAMU.

It's all about money and adding teams let's us renegotiate TV contracts. We are going to expand.

I'd be fine with both of those schools....we can play and win vs both that's for sure.I'll be 1 unhappy MSU fan if Okl was added...that's just to much with what we already have to deal with.

Texas would probably go to the Pac 10 or become an independent.
Oklahoma is interesting because I really don't think the Pac 10 would want Oklahoma State.

Its not an issue of being known as the best conference. Its about money and new TV revenue. Its really that simple.

Well, good for Slive. He got caught off-guard with last year's confernecegeddon. He wasn't going to get caught off guard again.
It sure looked like the house of cards that the Big 12 rested on last year wasn't going to last long. I'm looking at you, U Texas. Insisting on so much more conference revenue than your partner schools. Shesh.
PS: I hope the NCAA comes down against school ownership of TV and radio networks. That's not a good thing at all for college sports.
