Flowood dining?

What is a good sit down restaurant in Flowood that is not chain or real ritzy for a guy who has been in a hospital all day? Any suggestions in Flowood or close
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"

Mellow Mushroom has good pizza and beer. Five Guys for a hamburger.
Do not go to Cheddars its horrible service and food.
The Genghis Grill is pretty good also.
These are all around the Dogwood area.
If you want to go down Old Fannin from Lakeland towards the rez there is Swayze Bistro. Its in front of the bowling alley.

what are you in the mood for? for Mexican i would do el portrillo. for just any good steak or similar foods stix is ok. for burgers gotta be 5 guys. echibod is good. firehouse subs is good.

I live near Flowood and honestly I dont know of a place for someone fresh out of the hospital. You may wanna consider driving a few extra miles to enjoy your evening..Flowood is nothing but chain restaurants unfortunately.
