Get what crap out of here? The thought that we could lose the commit because he's visiting our top rival? The fact that national media outlets are reporting that he's secretly visited the school twice in 3 days?
Sorry man, but you need to get out of here and get your head out of the sand. This is about what's really happening, not your hopeful interpretations of Paul's reports that made it totally clear that the kid is on the fence still. "I'm with Mississippi State and that's the way it is baby" doesn't make sense if you're making secret visits to the rival school. :)
Questioning whether or not we're going to land our top recruit doesn't make me a Rebel, it makes me a concerned State fan that's watching a strong recruit slip away quite literally to Oxford in the middle of the night. Hoping that doesn't happen.
I'm staying out of if...you guys are being played badly here and it isn't by the OM media.
Chris already know's where he is going...it comes down to one person saying yes or no...it's a black and white issue.Don't get worked up over it and stay away from the mb's tillWed it will do you a world of good.
Chris Jones WAS in Oxford with his dad at some point this weekend...period!

GRINDIN' FOR #OURSTATE BLOGSITE!
randy, you are one of the ones who is being played like a fiddle. Don't be sucked in.
The first thing that you need to know is that ESPN is chock full of TSUN homers. For the last week they have let their school loyalty overcome their job of responsible reporting. These people have not left the home location of ESPN. They are simply ignorantly relaying reports from some onsite homer hacks. I can imagine who they are but I won't mention names because it is easy to assume who they are. ESPN is about as reliable on TSUN information as MSNBC is on Republican information.
humuckle, I disagree that I'm being played like a fiddle. I believe that people on this board are in denial. JC, ESPN, and others have reported that Chris was in Oxford. Players that Ole Miss is recruiting are saying they are there on Twitter. Pictures are popping up. I'm not saying Chris Jones did anything wrong, just saying that there is some intrigue going on and I'd like to get to the bottom of it.
Regarding ESPN being in the tank for TSUN, possibly so. I wouldn't rule it out. But these guys are pros and I don't think they would lie, they have no reason to. They might sensationalize the story though, that's certainly going to draw more page views, more subscribers, etc. I told JC that I didn't believe him yesterday and I went back to him today and told him it's clear that I (and many others) are wrong. I hope that all of this activity was wasted and that Jones signs with MSU on Wednesday, but I'm starting to wonder how the fans will feel about Jones given all of the secrecy and misleading comments in the last couple of weeks.
For what it's worth, JC says that he doesn't think Jones will flip at this point. I'm surprised, but maybe he has some insight we don't. Regardless, I'm ready for Wednesday to be here. :)
