If you have espn3 but you are blacked out in the area, download hotspotshield (for mac or pc). It is available from cnet (and other sites, but cnet is legit). Before installing it, try to watch the espn3 feed for the game. Once it gives you the "you have been blacked out", install hotspotshield and it should open a browser window and connect you. Once connected, open a new window or tab and reload the game.

It worked for me twice. Once on the pc, once on the mac. both using Google chrome as my primary browser. Good luck and Go Dogs!
