Cohen said catch Mitch Slauter wont make the trip due to a viral throat issue that required surgery. Said Slauter should be fine in long term but said just bad timing for this weekend.
Cohen said Jacob Lindgren had some bullpen issues this week and his start will be pushed back to Sunday. Said either Pollorena or Gravemen will go on Friday and will make that call later today.
Said Ammirati and Zack Randolph (walkon) will be the catchers this weekend
He said they expect Slauter back as early as next mid-week game
Said pitcher Trevor Fitts would also make the trip this weekend and said Evan Mitchell is also going. Said some new names may get opportunities this weekend as far as some names fans are not used to hearing (didnt say who tho).
To note on Zach Randolph, he looked solid in preseason play. He blocks the plate well and has a decent arm. Offensively he is not much of a threat but he will make contact.

Good detail to know. Thanks, Brooks.
And one of the best rebounders in the NBA.
Only other names I know of are Daniel Garner (redshirt) maybe see an increased role from John Marc Shelly and Trevor Fitts. I'm not rule sure that Alex Deise is still on the roster.
I expect Garner to still be redshirted unless Ammo gets hurt. And I agree on Fitts and Shelly, and maybe Fullerton plays more or Trey Porter.
This is not a weekend to play under adversity, but this team was very scrappy last year short handed. Hopefully they will step up and take 2 of 3.

2 of 3 is still not out of the question by any means. If Pollo and Graveman can have good outings the first two days then you could possibly be looking at Lindgren going for a rubber game or a sweep. Could also be Lidgren trying to salvage a game.
Gonna be awefully tough, Arkansas has a team ERA of 1.8
Yancy is like kudzu. You hate it, can't kill it, and is virtually worthless!
gimme pollo, kid thrives under pressure
$50 bet with Rebels10 - Best of 3 Egg Bowls
**the $50 goes to others schools athletics dept**
Any ideas on the starting lineup? I'm trying to put together a preview thread over on Hawgs247. Gracias.
edit: not necessarily the batting order... just the starting position players
