Per Twitter. I know we are on him as a QB so thought it might interest some.

Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better and your better is best. -
Thanks for the note. He said today in the biscuits that he felt Auburn and Bama were close to offering. Kid is about to blow up with offers.
So that pretty much means we won't get him if the in state teams offer him
Never say never
Signed DeRunnya Wilson

Just what I was thinking.
Hope your right. They did get on Wilson really late
I live in this area and he was on the team with a couple of our players that played there, so no were not out of it. We have a good following in North Alabama.
I do agree it will be tougher now with Auburn offering and good point on Wilson. But MSU has been on Doss since his soph year and he used to come down to MSU all the time with Kivon and Beniquez.
I heard that DeRunnya was going to sign with Auburn if they would have let him play basketball.
Yancy is like kudzu. You hate it, can't kill it, and is virtually worthless!
Among his SEC offers, Auburn was the closest to offering him a hoops scholarship. He couldve played both there.
I live in Florence and have seen him play several times. He looked impressive last year. Hopefully Brown and Kivon can stay in his ear about MSU. One reason I chose State over Auburn when I was looking at schools is that MSU is actually much closer to home than Auburn, so that could play a role?
