If not mistaken, we have one of the largest jumbotrons is CFB??? Do we use it correctly is a question that everyone has a different opinion about. Myself, I get tired of seeing North MS Auto Dealership advertisements during every break and the "mechanics of.....whatever" sucks! I hate to compare us to TSUN, however they kept their recruits into the game when Strickland and Crew cant keep a 90 year old entertained! TSUN was doing the same thing, but Bjork came in and said "lets pay this off and play what we want". IT WORKED, his first year anyway. Our timeouts, etc are boring as hell so why not use our money to pay it off , not "CARL"? Just my opinion I had to vent out.

Your right. Loyal local sponsors of Mississippi State football are a bad thing. And so is money. My advice during a "boring" timeout? Wait about 2 minutes (heck, maybe even talk to somebody) and then enjoy the greatest football in the world.
ETA on the recruits: if a recruit picks a school based on what is being played on the jumbotron and not on the field, I hope said student-athlete recruit goes to Ole Miss every time.

You know how you really make money? Keep the stadium full and make sure people are excited about being at DWS for 4 quarters of football. The world's largest talking billboard has diminshed the gameday experience for me.

**the $50 goes to others schools athletics dept**
Since we're venting about the MooTube, I think it's too damn close to the field.
The support pillars where they are blow any aesthetic the field house ever had, it creates tough viewing angles South of the 30, and casts a gigantic shadow on the field during late-season day games.
Other than that, I think it's great.
good grief (as my 87 year old Mom would say) Man.... Is that all you have to complain about....Stick around Dude and in the fall of 2014 you'll have TWO Jumbotrons to B@&tch about!!!! haha. It's all about how u look at it; i am so damn glad we HAVE one of largest Jumbotrons in the country AND a packed house EVERY game to watch whatever is on it. I respect your right to your opinion but i choose to think the glass is half (or more) FULL rather than empty. GO freakinDAWGS!!!!!
And all the ppl said...BOOM!
It's OUR time and OUR State!
There are so many geriatric responses to this guy's personal opinion. Any of you that can sit hear and tell me that you would rather watch "semore trucks" or "peso little" rather than hearing some good music or replays of pervious great moments in MSU sports history are flat out wrong, in my opinion of course! I am all for filling the seats at whatever cost and clearly we are doing something right. However, a stadium is only as strong as its student section. Keep them involved in to the game and good things happen. Something tells me "physics of football" just don't cut it! Last thing to the guy that called the poster a troll, ha if you only knew!
I honestly cant wait to have 2 huge jumbotrons with commercials playing. We have donated 3-5 cars a year since 1986 but its not for advertisement. My whole point is BORING!!! "Mechanics of Football", recruits dont care and why should you all, not like your a prospect.

You can't be serious. Did you really just say that the jumbotron has made games less enjoyable for you?
PLEASE STAY AT HOME.
