I think I may need a board dictionary. I run into acronyms and references I do not understand all the time. For example, the term "maybe Germans". I guess I was just late to class, but can someone explain that to me?

bird, i know that sps (sixpack speak) has a dictionary on their page of common phrases, that might help you some as a lot of those carry over
