Any Houston, TX area bulldogs???

I'm about to move to Houston, TX for about 9 months and I know there are some alumni in the Houston area (supposedly, it's a pretty big alumni chapter). I was wanting to know if there were any hangouts that a lot of Houston dawgs frequent or get some ideas on places to go, eat, live, etc.
Also, link up with some Houston area dawgs for gameday activities and such!!!

The alumni group here is pretty well run. We had a great turnout for the Road Dawgs tour a few weeks ago. The group also meets up to watch most of the football games. A different bar around Houston is chosen each week. You can find more information at http://208.109.134.249/MSU/
If you're interested in knowing where to go, eat, live, etc.... PM me with any specific questions. I've lived here for 6 years now and know the city quite well.
And does J-Short live in Houston? I had no clue and really wish I still had no clue.

It is an order...(of the PCS variety) to Division HQ. Funny thing is they'll pay me per diem and TDY to come home and help you out, LOL.
I'll be there for about 9 or 10 months...starting at the end of July or beginning (or so) of August. Family is staying here, so I'll be by myself. MissouriDawg is helping me out with some great info....keep it coming!

Keep me in mind...not totally sure what's going to happen after we re-deploy with our jobs. I may have a chance to go back on a mob order, but if not, I'll be looking for something. I'll keep you posted on our timeline.
