Many bad habits appeared over the weekend and that resulted in MSU getting dominated by Texas A&M in a rare home loss.
Sorry, but Banks and Slay have yet to contribute in a big-time SEC game in 2012. In the beginning of the season, yes, the Auburn win was huge, but their season is a complete bust. Against the superior teams in the West that we've played thus far, our secondary has been outplayed. Just my opinion because I'm a paying member...thanks...I feel better now.
Only thing is it doesnt matter who your corners are if your dline get no pressure. No corner in the SEC or the NFL can hang with a receiver for 10 seconds, and that is nearly the time Manziel had all day yesterday to throw the ball. And they only threw at Banks twice yesterday so not much he could do.
Good point...I didn't watch the entire game; I left the MWR tent at halftime because I couldn't believe how poorly they were playing. Maybe they get it together this weekend.
From an outsider perspective.
Feed the RB some more, use him to slow the rush.
Your QB has a nice arm, use it on the slant to slow the rush.
Your QB is pretty mobile, get him running the ball 7-10 times a game, it will slow the rush.
The nickel does not work against our offense, it is built to exploit it.
What I know about football and baseball, they were my best sports.
This is what ya need in football.
Inspirational coaching. A coach you will die for.
Speed period. Toughness which also means mental toughness. On defense you want to not just make a nice tackle, you want to hurt him. Do your best to knock him out. Play hard. Be the best. It's not good to say your better than me in the real world, but I think this is why we all like this game, because we can do this on the field.
Baseball is another deal.
